Don’t Wait For The “Perfect Time…”

“If you’re always waiting for the perfect time, there will never be one.…”

My dad shared these words with me nearly 15 years ago, as I wrestled with the decision of proposing to Rachel - now my wife of 13.5 years. In that moment, his wisdom & experience helped cut through some of my minor hesitations. I followed both my heart and my head, and asked her to marry me. To this day, it remains the single best decision of my life.

That same phrase resurfaced years later when Rachel and I were considering attempting to start a family. Once again, the timing didn’t feel “perfect”… But my dad’s words reminded me that the meaningful things in life rarely come at our self-constructed ideal timing

Looking back, nearly every rewarding, growth-filled decision and chapter of my life began with a moment of some uncertainty, followed by what felt like a leap of faith. Scary at times? Absolutely. But also divinely orchestrated in ways I could never have scripted.

So I ask you: Where in your life are you being nudged to take action?

  • Maybe it’s stepping into a new role or career.

  • Maybe it’s telling someone how much they mean to you.

  • Maybe it’s finally starting that side hustle.

This isn’t about being reckless - It’s trusting in something bigger than yourself, leaning into faith, and following your heart.

And even if things don’t unfold exactly as you imagined or planned… It’s an opportunity for growth & learning!

Don’t patiently wait for the “perfect time…”

- Bradie
